Dear Reader:

Oh the difference a day makes.  Below is a list of films adhering to Aristotle’s idea of what would later become the three unities espoused by Neoclassicism.  The list is without order and hierarchy.  Please note some of the films may veer away from the three unities, but are mostly in line with the Aristotelian ideal.  I hope you find this to be a cathartic experience.

  1. Training Day (2001)
  2. Groundhog Day (1993)
  3. The Blob (1958)
  4. The Passion of the Christ (2004)
  5. Falling Down (1993)
  6. Night of the Living Dead (1968)
  7. Escape from New York (1981)
  8. Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)
  9. Friday (1995)
  10. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986)
